Pretty Good story...

I really disliked ME1. The ridiculous controls, and the fact that a "transporter" is located anywhere in a station that doesn't even look like that certain place can hold a flying car was just stupid. Then there was the elevators and confusing/clumsy inventory controls... ME2 seems to have fixed these issues, from the many reviews I read everyone has a lot of nice things to say about it. Here goes a $60.00 gamble...

Still needs time to get used to the theme song... But the overall production is great!

I am SO PUMPED about this game!

Interesting. 漫画 - man hua - is the chinese for comics. Of course this is also used in Japanese pronounced manga, and Korean Manhwa. I hope to see some Chinese man hua someday too, with their own distinct style and story telling.

Good story, didn't know there was so much history...

This is very great news. Even though it's mot a Miyazaki movie, I hope that his studio proves that they have other visionaries on the bench. Can't wait!

Personall I am eying the Aspire 1410 netbook... I really want a small and fast netbook to use for Linux.

@Animerated: Thanks.

Sweet... My first exposure to Code Geass was from the Youtube channel, where they had a few seasons on there, now I can't wait to see more new Geass!

Animerated, do you have a link to where you got this information you can share? Thanks!

This is actually the download for Google Chrome browser for the Mac... Didn't emphasize this in the title.

Huge fan of Yakuza 2, Yakuza 3 FTW!!!

I'm a huge fan of Valkyria Chronicles, it's definitely one of those games that feels like is "crafted" than "made".

@clhbugzy: darn it, youtube removed it, looks like it was a copyrighted clip someone posted...

LOL classics never grows old, no matter who tries it.

Found this article interesting, because from where I come from (Mainland China), the Otaku culture is more or less the norm among the majority of young kids.

The graphical novel style story telling of MGS handheld games kinda brings me out of the MGS experience. All their PS games use the in-game engine to render the cut-scenes, and I thought that was most natural. Using 2D to tell the story is OK, but it does disrupt the gameplay for me because I feel like I am being pulled from one presentation to another.

The funniest part is about half way into the video, 1:43.

The way he makes a morning coffee is genius!

I didn't really like the movie because there were just too much "super powers". But I have to agree the artistic style and neo-tokyo portrayal set the standards for many other animations.

I think this article makes some sense. However I argue that the it's not just Vampires, it's the whole Japanese fantasy theme that changes too much between franchise to franchise. To americans, imagination to how a Vampire behaves is limited. For Japanese, they are just another super natural being that can be reinvented like any other fantasy story.

I hope they didn't finally decide to release this state side since it's about the same time frame of the release of FFXIII... I think this game was released in JPN about 1.5 years ago...

Artists like Tezuka , Miyazaki and Disney all knew how to channel their lifetime experiences through their art and express it to people. Unlike many of the pointless animations made these days, I wish more artists and producers would look back and learn from them. A good story only affects people if they can relate it abstractly or literally to events in their own life, the older generation had such an amazing ability to express that.

This is pretty cool... a lot of detail! I haven't played the game yet, but hopefully soon.

@Alain-Christian: Thanks for the heads up man, it should be fixed now :-P

@Alain-Christian: This is the second article I have read about the same scenario. Animators are getting treated like dirt... does this have anything to do with how many people are working in that industry?

@Alain-Christian: I think Hulu did a great job. But comparing hulu, crunchyroll and veoh, they all seem to have the same collection of anime. I wish there were more distinctions...

that Eva 01 just looks so cool... looks like there are more than enough joints on it to move it anyway you like huh?
